me and bovary

reading madame bovary and she reminds me of myself back when i was stuck in a relationship with a "nice guy" and wanted out but he was just so "nice" that i waited until a year passed before coming to my senses and running as fast as i could away. madame bovary has made me think about this nice guy and when I am thinking i am sometimes under the impression that i feel bad, but i do not. i did what i had to. i was honest.

some of the nicest words i have ever heard, the kindest words, have been "i am not fallin for you" said by a wheat haired, sun burnt and brawny tree planting man who realized i was falling for him and wanted to save me the misery of being mislead. people should save each other the misery much more often than they do.

Frugal TIPS!!!

Some of these may sound crazy, but why not?

(whatever you are about to buy you probably don't need)

- DILUTE EVERYTHING YOU CAN

shampoo, face wash, body wash, juice

- ALWAYS SAY YES TO HAND-ME DOWNS

swap clothes, books, magazines toiletries, anything you don't want with friends and family in exchange for their cast-aways

- BORROW

- PUBLIC = FREE

steal soap, toilet paper, paper towels from public bathrooms. never buy ketchup again

Ditch the TV!

I'm not joking. Not only is it a time robber it is a mind control device. It dumbs you down so you can easily be brainwashed into buying the shit that is being flashed into your brain on the screen. I believe TV is responsible for many of societies problems and if people weren't so busy staring at it they would be off living real, fullfilling lives filled with creativity and goodness.

I could go on and on about the benefits of liberating myself from tv...
And yes, I still catch up on some programs on youtube and download favorite tv series' and watch documentaries on the cbc website, but I chose what I am watching. I found when I was living with a tv I would absentmindedly turn it on and watch whatever was on, even if it was of little value.

The activities that have replaced tv are so much more rewarding. Crossword puzzles, cooking, reading books, LIVING!

topsy-turvy hatred to love:

I love quiet libraries!

I love quiet people.

I love silence.

I love humble people.

I love professors who are organized and prepared.

ah fuck it!
I want to punch the loud nursing cunts who talk and laugh and carry on like twats in the library at school.

I fucking hate obnoxious loud talkers.

I abhor noise pollution.

I hate cocky peacock ass-hat dudes who think they are all that.
